Pierce County Charter Review Commission
The Pierce County Charter serves as the Constitution of our county and it affects everyone who lives within its boundaries. Elected Commissioners review the County Charter once every ten years.
You, as a voter, will vote on the amendments that the Commissioners propose to bring to the ballot. This is why the Charter Commission is important! Here are answers to the FAQ about the Commission.

Your vote for me will bring my knowledge and experience with planning and policy, along with strong comprehension of legal, governance and regulatory documents. I am running to be your Fourth District Charter Commissioner in Position Two with the knowledge that it is an impactful document which regulates the governance, powers, and responsibilities of both elected and appointed officials. I have the ability to understand the language of the charter for a thorough interpretation and discussion of it with my fellow Commissioners. Together, we will propose, approve, or reject changes to the charter on the voters' behalf.
